About CallforCharity.com.....
The operators of CallforCharity.com believe that the world is still inhabited with good, loving, caring people and all the evils and terrible things on the
nightly news, although true, do not take away that you can still have faith in the common man. We have tried to stay immune from the ME generation and you can often here “It’s not
all about you” when our organization is all together.
It’s not, all about “you” or “me” but it’s all about us and there are so many people who work long and hard for the common good and give their time, effort,
money, experience and anything else they can to help their favorite charity. As most people are getting squeezed with less time and less money, the amount of time and money they can
give is constantly shrinking. As this happens many charities operate at the bare minimum levels and things like medical research and aid to the poor and children groups suffer the
most. If that is not a good enough reason to do something and give back to the community then what is.
The money that CallforCharity.com donates to the charities is technically the personal income of CallforCharity.com and, although not legally bound, the
charities receive their money at the 2% donation level. The consulting accountants and lawyers for CallforCharity.com are working to find the best business structure to maximize the
amount the groups can get while keeping enough to keep the site up and “the lights on”.
Currently, CallforCharity.com operates as a for profit enterprise. This is because we did not want to delay the launch of this site while the accounts
and lawyers researched multiple IRS regulations and guidelines. Also, CallforCharity.com believes that people should be reimbursed for their talents and although our support staff
gives a multitude of time to CallforCharity.com for free we can not expect that they will turn away their paying customers to do work for us for free. Therefore, we have expenses,
and we pass none of this cost on to the members or the organization.
Lastly, we searched long and hard for our provider, Covista Communications, and our staff used this service for months prior to ever presenting it to our
members. We also have called the customer service center, attended their sales training seminars and talk regularly to the executive sales and inside sales staff. We have
always found the service to be excellent (even at 2:00 AM) and would never present this if we didn’t think it was a superior service and well run organization.
